Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

Arrive in Paro via the scenic flight.
Transfer to Thimphu (about 1.5 hours).

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing

Explore Folk Heritage Museum and National Textile Museum.
Afternoon:
Visit Motithang Takin Preserve (to see Bhutan’s national animal, the takin).

Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha
Morning:
Drive to Punakha (about 2.5 hours) via the Dochula Pass (enjoy views of the Himalayas and visit the 108 chortens).

Visit the stunning Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.
Take a short hike to the Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple).
Evening:
Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 4: Punakha – Paro
Morning:
Drive back to Paro (about 4 hours).
Afternoon:
Visit Rinpung Dzong and explore the traditional architecture.
Stroll across the Nyamai Zam (traditional wooden bridge).

Day 5: Paro – Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)

After descending, visit the Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples.

Day 6: Paro Sightseeing
